Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter
This competition is run by Pastry Delights (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”).

2. Duration
The competition runs from [start date] to [end date] (the “Competition Period”).
Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.

3. Who May Enter

  • The competition is open to South African residents aged 18 years or older.

  • Employees, suppliers, agents, or immediate family members of Pastry Delights or its affiliates are not eligible to enter.

4. How to Enter
Participants can enter by completing the official entry form on the Pastry Delights website at [insert website URL].

To enter, entrants must:

  1. Complete all required fields (including name, contact number, and location).

  2. Indicate where they purchased Pastry Delights products (if applicable).

  3. Accept these Terms and Conditions and agree to POPIA consent.

Optional:
Entrants are encouraged to follow @pastrydelights_sa on Instagram or TikTok to stay up to date with winner announcements and future promotions.

Each valid form submission counts as one (1) entry.
Proof of purchase will be requested to validate an entry.

5. Prizes

  • Prizes include deep freezers and air fryers, as advertised during the campaign.

  • The Promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes with items of equal or greater value if required.

  • Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

  • Winners will be chosen by random draw after the closing date.

  • The draw will take place within 30 days of competition closure.

  • Winners will be contacted via WhatsApp, phone call, or email using the details provided.

  • If a winner cannot be reached within 7 days, the Promoter reserves the right to select another winner.

7. Proof of Purchase (if applicable)
Entrants will be requested to provide a till slip or invoice confirming a Pastry Delights product purchased within the competition period.

8. Publicity
By entering, participants agree that Pastry Delights may use their name, photograph, and/or social media handle for marketing or promotional purposes related to this competition, without further compensation.
No personal details will be published without prior consent.

9. Personal Data & POPIA Compliance

  • All personal information collected will be handled in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

  • Data will be used solely for the purposes of administering the competition and contacting winners.

  • Entrants may opt in to receive marketing communication from Pastry Delights, but this is not mandatory.

  • All collected information will be stored securely and not shared with third parties.

10. Disqualification
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry that:

  • contains false information,

  • appears fraudulent or duplicated, or

  • breaches these Terms and Conditions.

11. Limitation of Liability
Pastry Delights will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation in the competition or acceptance of any prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

12. General

  • The Promoter’s decision on all matters relating to this competition is final and binding.

  • Pastry Delights reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition if circumstances beyond its control arise.

  • Entry into this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
